Are all religions true?

Are all religions correct?

Only one religion can be correct.

Many people say that all religions are correct. They give the example that just as a house has many doors, can’t there be many paths and religions leading to God?

Answer:

How can all different paths leading in different directions reach the same place when their destinations are not only different but also contradictory? When the goals and destinations of all religions are different, how can they all lead to the same destination?

All religions differ not only in secondary matters but also in fundamental beliefs such as monotheism, prophethood, and the afterlife. Only Islam believes in monotheism, while others do not. Christians consider the prophet Jesus as God, and in Hinduism, there is no concept of prophets. Jews, Christians, and Muslims believe in the afterlife, but followers of Sanatana Dharma, Jainism, and Buddhism do not. When the foundations of all religions are contradictory, they cannot all be correct, otherwise, it would lead to confusion.

If one person says this is a pen, another says it’s an apple, and a third says it’s a lion, even a simple-minded person can understand that all these statements about one thing cannot all be correct. It’s not possible for something to be both correct and incorrect at the same time. Saying all religions are correct is similar. If all religions led to God, they would not be contradictory.

Remember:

When there is one God, the path shown by Him will also be one.

All religions have different foundations and different goals. When their destinations are different, how can they have a common destination? If one’s destination is the true God, and the destinations of other religions are false gods, then there are two paths: the true and the false, the guided and the misguided. And it is not possible to reach the true God through a false religion. To reach the true God, you have to find the true path and the true religion.

If you want to enter your home, you can only enter through the door of your home, not through my home’s door.

It is impossible for God to introduce Himself differently and contradictorily to different people. To some, He says He is one (Islam), to others, two (Zoroastrianism), to some three (Christianity), and to others, countless and innumerable (Hinduism).

If this were the case, He would not be God because a lying God cannot be God. The meaning is clear: not all religions are correct, only one religion is correct.

Now it is the responsibility of every person to search for the correct religion.

You can easily find the correct religion based on the following criteria:

1. The religious book should be authentic and credible.

2. The religion should be for everyone, with such a claim in its religious book and its practice.

3. Its religious book should not discriminate among people.

4. It should be a monotheistic religion.

5. The description of God should be free from any defects and not have human attributes.

6. It should respect and honor the prophets and messengers.

Based on these criteria, you can easily check any religion to see if it is the true religion or not. Start your search for the true religion on these grounds, and you will soon find the truth and the true faith, InshaAllah.
